Relaxation Massage for Women in Lake Mary

Relaxation massage is exactly what it sounds like: an hour designed to slow everything down. Long, flowing strokes with light to medium pressure, a quiet room, and nothing you need to do but breathe. If you’re new to massage, or if what you need most right now is for your nervous system to take a break, this is where to start.

Who it’s for

Relaxation massage suits women who are stressed, overwhelmed, sleeping badly, or simply running on empty. It’s also my usual recommendation for a first massage, because the pressure is comfortable and you get to experience what a session feels like without any intensity. You don’t need a sore spot or an injury to book. Needing an hour to yourself is reason enough.

What a session feels like

We’ll start with a short conversation about how you’re feeling and anything you’d like me to focus on or avoid. Then I’ll step out while you get comfortable on the table. The massage itself uses long, smooth, rhythmic strokes over the back, shoulders, neck, arms, legs, and feet, with the pressure kept light to moderate and adjusted to what feels good to you. Many women drift off, and that’s completely fine. I can use warm towels if you’d like them.

What it may help with

Relaxation massage may help ease everyday stress and muscle tension, support better sleep, and give you a real pause in a busy week. Most women leave feeling calmer, looser, and a little slower in the best way.

Relaxation or therapeutic?

If you have specific tight spots, like a stiff neck, a sore lower back, or shoulders that live up around your ears, therapeutic massage may suit you better. Not sure? Book whichever sounds closest, and we’ll adjust once we talk.

Session length and price

60 minutes, $80.

Good to know

You’re draped the whole time, you choose how much to undress, and you can change the pressure or pause at any point. If you’re pregnant, have had recent surgery, or have a health condition you’re unsure about, check with your doctor first and mention it on your intake form.

A few quick questions

Is relaxation massage a good first massage?

Yes. It’s the most common place to start, because the pressure is gentle and you control it.

Will I be covered the whole time?

Yes. You’re draped with a sheet and blanket throughout, and only the area being worked on is uncovered.

Can I talk during the session?

If you like. Some women chat, some prefer quiet. You can change your mind at any point.
