Cupping for Women in Lake Mary
Cupping uses suction cups, applied with a pump, on the area that needs attention while I keep massaging the rest of your body. It’s an add-on to any type of massage.
Who it’s for
Cupping is a good fit if your back and shoulders feel tight and you’d like something different from standard massage pressure.
What a session feels like
I use suction cups with a pump. During your massage I place them on the area that needs the most attention, and while they work I keep massaging other parts of your body. I can move the cups slowly over the area or leave them in place, usually for 10 to 20 minutes, and I keep the suction at a level that feels comfortable to you. You can ask me to stop at any time.
What to expect afterward
Cupping can leave round marks on the skin. They are usually temporary and fade within days. Please tell me beforehand if you’d rather not have any marks.
What to tell me beforehand
- Blood thinners, or any condition that makes you bruise easily
- Sensitive skin, rashes, sunburn or open skin in the area
- Whether you are pregnant
- Anything you’d rather I not do
Session length and price
Cupping is an add-on to any type of massage: $5 added to your session. The cups are used during your massage, for about 10 to 20 minutes, while I work on other areas.
Good to know
Cupping isn’t a medical treatment and doesn’t diagnose or treat any condition. If you’re unsure whether it’s right for you, check with your doctor first.
